Adi Nampreet Kaur is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and the founder of Adi Nampreet Yoga, based in Queensland, Australia. Her teaching is grounded in a deep respect for the Kundalini Yoga tradition and a genuine commitment to living the teachings, not only sharing them in the classroom.
She teaches Kundalini Yoga and meditation both online and in person, offering regular classes, workshops, Aquarian Sadhana and private mentoring to students in Australia and internationally. Her teaching explores the mind and our capacity to live with greater awareness, while honouring the deeper spiritual journey that comes through committed practice.
Adi Nampreet brings warmth, humour and honesty to her teaching, creating spaces where students can experience the technology for themselves and develop a relationship with their own inner wisdom. She believes the real depth of Kundalini Yoga is found in living the teachings, and when we do, they begin to influence the way we live, respond and relate to the world around us.
Alongside her teaching, Adi Nampreet works as a creative facilitator and contributes to projects that support the growth and continuation of Kundalini Yoga.
Her own path is deeply connected to devotion and the Guru. She continues to approach both her practice and her teaching as a lifelong journey of learning and becoming more conscious.
- Relaxation MassageRelaxation massage is a gentle and soothing form of massage therapy aimed at promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving overall well-being. It involves the application of various massage techniques, such as long, gliding strokes, kneading, and circular motions, using a lighter pressure. The primary focus of relaxation massage is to calm the nervous system, relieve muscle tension, and create a sense of deep relaxation. This type of massage is typically performed in a serene and tranquil environment, with the client undressed and covered with a sheet or towel.
- YogaA physical, mental and spiritual practice, Yoga is a Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas dating more than 2,500 years. Classes are generally 1 - 1 ½ hrs in duration and incorporate physical postures and movement (asanas), breath exercises (pranayama), relaxation and concentration, philosophy, and meditation. Yoga benefits the physical and mental body by enhancing flexibility, improving muscle strength and tone, increasing body awareness, and promoting relaxation and calm.
- Kundalini YogaKundalini is an ancient yogic practice popularized in the late 1960s by Yogi Bhajan. It combines pranayama, asana, chanting, meditation, and singing to awaken Kundalini, the primal energy at the base of the spine. The practice cleanses and purifies the glandular system, nervous system, and energy centers. Kundalini sessions, lasting 60-90 minutes, include an opening chant and spinal warm-up, a kriya (sequence of postures with breathing techniques), and a closing meditation or song. Awakening Kundalini may lead to heightened awareness, ecstasy, and experiences of oneness, making it a transformative and spiritually enriching practice.
- Laughter YogaLaughter Yoga, developed by Dr. Madan Kataria in 1995, combines laughter exercises with yogic breathing techniques. Based on scientific studies showing the body's response to intentional and genuine laughter, participants can gain similar benefits through intentional laughter exercises. These benefits include reduced cortisol levels, lower blood pressure, enhanced mood through endorphin release, stress reduction, improved immune function, increased social connection, and heightened optimism. Laughter Yoga offers a fun and effective way to improve both physiological and psychological well-being, promoting overall health and happiness.
