Awaken Spinal Flow
Adrian Walter
About
Spinal Flow is a holistic healing technique that focuses on restoring the natural flow of neural activity throughout the spine (nervous system) to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being. The fundamental belief is that unresolved stress, trauma, and tension are held within the spine and nervous system, resulting in blockages that can cause chronic pain, anxiety, or dysfunction. Spinal Flow Technique empowers individuals by awakening their innate healing intelligence, releasing physical, emotional, and chemical blockages to foster resilience, vitality, and holistic well-being.
Approved Modalities
- Spinal Flow® TechniqueThe Spinal Flow® Technique, developed by Dr Carli Axford, is a healing approach rooted in spine and nervous system philosophy. Practitioners learn the spine's 7 gateways and assess its 33 vertebrae for blockages caused by chemical, physical, or emotional stress. Through light palpation, they initiate the Spinal Wave™, relieving pain and dis-ease by connecting the nervous system to the brain and integrating experiences. This certification program teaches powerful communication and effective contact with spinal access points, facilitating the flow of the Spinal Wave from the coccyx to the cranium. By tapping into the body's innate potential, the technique enhances well-being and transforms the way stress is processed, promoting holistic healing.
- Therapeutic MassageTherapeutic massage combines remedial massage and relaxation massage with an aim to work through muscular tightness, increase bloodflow, oxygen and nutrients to the muscles, as well as reduce swelling. Clients may obtain therapeutic benefit and relaxation from one, or several therapeutic massage treatments. The aim of therapeutic massage can vary, whereby the client may be referred by a healthcare practitioner to complement a broader treatment plan. Or, therapeutic massage may be utilised to support greater physical and mental wellbeing for the general population. A therapeutic massage practitioner would tailor each session to the client's needs, within their scope of practice.
- AcupunctureAcupuncture, a 3,000-year-old Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy, aims to restore balance to the mind, body, and spirit by addressing the root cause of disease. Tiny steel needles inserted into specific acupoints stimulate the body's central nervous system, releasing chemicals into muscles, the spinal cord, and brain, promoting Qi flow, clearing energetic blockages, and inducing self-healing. Moxibustion, herbs, or dietary supplements may complement treatment. Acupuncture benefits various conditions like arthritis, headaches, sleep disorders, blood pressure, sports injuries, infertility, digestive issues, anxiety, menopause, and pain. Regulation of Acupuncturists varies by region, and practitioners must hold appropriate qualifications and licensure.
