Approved Modalities
  • Kinesiology
Kinesiology is the study of movement, derived from Chiropractic and Applied Kinesiology. It utilizes muscle testing to identify imbalances in the body—physical, emotional, biochemical, or spiritual. By bypassing mental stories and beliefs, kinesiologists determine methods to restore balance. They employ techniques like subconscious realigning, acupressure, nutrition, coaching, and emotional clearing to address root causes of imbalances. Kinesiology is a holistic approach, offering solutions for disorders such as stress, muscular and nervous disorders, allergies, nutritional deficiencies, learning difficulties, behavioral issues, and emotional challenges. It aims to transform clients' well-being by addressing the underlying causes and promoting balance in multiple aspects of life.
  • Yoga
A physical, mental and spiritual practice, Yoga is a Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas dating more than 2,500 years. Classes are generally 1 - 1 ½ hrs in duration and incorporate physical postures and movement (asanas), breath exercises (pranayama), relaxation and concentration, philosophy, and meditation. Yoga benefits the physical and mental body by enhancing flexibility, improving muscle strength and tone, increasing body awareness, and promoting relaxation and calm.
  • Counselling
Counselling is a form of talk therapy that enhances self-understanding and promotes mental well-being. Through deep listening and empathy, counsellors establish a positive working relationship which creates a safe and confidential space. Within this context, clients can develop effective ways to deal with anxieties and negative life patterns and gain new perspectives in a non-judgemental environment. Sessions can be carried out in person or via telephone or videoconferencing. In some countries, Counselling is regulated. It is essential you are familiar with and adhere to the laws in your state/province or country which govern the appropriate use of titles, require licensure/registration, or a specific level of education.
  • Meditation
Meditation is an umbrella term for a number of practices that train the meditator to be present to their thoughts with awareness and without judgement. Counter to the conditioning of the mind/body system, positive effects of meditation can be heightened relaxation, the building of etheric energy and deeper awareness. Through either sustained focus, mindfulness, or the cultivation of compassion, meditation can clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure, depression and anxiety.
  • Touch for Health™
Touch for Health™ is the most widely used form of Kinesiology in the world. It was pioneered by John Thie in 1970 in an effort to make Kinesiology more accessible to the wider population. Touch for Health™ uses muscle testing to create biofeedback and identify imbalances in the body’s energy system. Corrections are then made by holding or massaging specific points, tracing electrical pathways along body lines, stimulating the origin and insertion of involved muscles or working with acupressure points. The Touch for Health™ model does not treat or diagnose symptoms, but rather brings the body back into a balanced state to promote over well-being.
  • Australian Bush Flower Essences
Australian Bush Flower Essences® were developed and researched by Naturopath and 5th generation herbalist, Ian White. Bush Flower essences are prepared by impriting a flower’s unique vibrational healing signature onto a carrier solution of brandy and water. Flowers are sources in the wild in an area free from pollution, roads and power lines. Australian Bush Flower Essences® can be ingested or absorbed through the skin. By working on the meridians, chakras, and subtle bodies, essences are said to bring forth positive qualities that innately reside within each person. It is recommended that people work with one essence at a time. Each flower has a unique property(s) and will be recommended based on the presenting ailment. For example, Boronia might be suggested for obsessive thoughts or pining for recently ended relationships. This modality can be practised on both humans and animals within 'scope-of-practice.'
