Carrie Baquié is a Master Practitioner & Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy® and Hypnotherapy. Her work sits at the intersection of subconscious change, identity, personal transformation and practical action—helping women create meaningful change from the inside out.
Often joking that she’s a “junk drawer therapist,” Carrie helps women sort through the cluttered drawers of their minds: outdated beliefs, internalized “shoulds,” old emotional patterns, expectations and hidden fears that can quietly shape our choices long after they’ve stopped serving us.
Her clients are often smart, capable women who have spent years doing what was expected of them—and doing it well. They’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, tried the planners and learned the strategies. Yet they may still find themselves overthinking, second-guessing, repeating old patterns or knowing what they want to do but struggling to actually do it.
Carrie’s work goes beneath the strategy. Using coaching, NLP, Time Line Therapy® and hypnotherapy, she helps women work with the unconscious patterns driving their behavior, reconnect with their own inner authority and translate that clarity into meaningful action.
At the heart of her work is Wildly Whole Woman™: a philosophy and growing community centered on helping women rediscover the truth of who they are beneath the “shoulds,” expectations and self-doubt. As women reconnect with that truth, they rediscover the wild spark that is uniquely theirs. Carrie’s work is about breathing life into that spark—so women can show up more fully in their businesses, careers, relationships and lives.
Her vision is a global community of women rooted in inner authority, embodied power and the freedom to create lives that genuinely reflect who they are.
- Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)Co-founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) enables us to understand how our brain processes the words we use and how that can effect our programming and behaviour. Engaging various tools and techniques, practitioners support clients with re-programming their neurology, language and actions. Rather than allowing thoughts to be passive, NLP techniques help to look at thoughts, feelings and emotions as things that can be controlled. Techniques can include things such as Imagery Training, NLP Swish, Modelling, Mirroring, and Incantations.
- HypnotherapyHypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that utilizes hypnosis to access and influence the subconscious mind. It involves inducing a relaxed state, known as a trance, where the individual is open to positive suggestions and guided imagery. This altered state of consciousness allows the hypnotherapist to work with the client's deeper levels of awareness to address and transform limiting beliefs, behaviours, and emotional patterns. It is a collaborative process that aims to harness the power of the mind for personal growth and healing. For our purposes, it is important to differentiate Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy from Clinical Hypnotherapy. Clinical Hypnotherapists undergo extensive training and are skilled in Counselling/Psychotherapy, making them adept at handling more complex cases such as trauma/PTSD, fears and phobias, sexual dysfunction, and so on.
- Time Line Therapy®Founded by Tad James Co. in 1986, Time Line Therapy® is the latest development in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Time Line Therapy® techniques utilize a person’s own internal “Time Line” to work with their unconscious minds in a variety of ways; including, healing emotional traumas and eradicating unwanted thoughts, emotions and behaviours. A person's “Time Line” is how they unconsciously store their memories or how they unconsciously know the difference between a memory from the past and a projection of the future. Behavioural change in an individual takes place at an unconscious level. The Time Line Therapy® techniques allow people to work at the unconscious level and release the effects of past negative experiences and change “inappropriate” programming in minutes rather than days, months or years.
