  • Brain Gym®
Brain Gym® is an educational movement program that aims to enhance learning, cognitive skills, and overall brain function. Developed by Paul E. Dennison, Brain Gym utilizes simple movements, exercises, and activities to stimulate and integrate different areas of the brain. These activities are designed to promote focus, concentration, coordination, and overall mind-body integration. Brain Gym exercises often involve specific movements that cross the midline of the body, stimulating connections between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. By engaging in these movements, individuals can improve cognitive abilities, memory, reading comprehension, and overall learning potential. Brain Gym is frequently used in educational settings and therapeutic practices to support optimal brain functioning.
  • Touch for Health™
Touch for Health™ is the most widely used form of Kinesiology in the world. It was pioneered by John Thie in 1970 in an effort to make Kinesiology more accessible to the wider population. Touch for Health™ uses muscle testing to create biofeedback and identify imbalances in the body’s energy system. Corrections are then made by holding or massaging specific points, tracing electrical pathways along body lines, stimulating the origin and insertion of involved muscles or working with acupressure points. The Touch for Health™ model does not treat or diagnose symptoms, but rather brings the body back into a balanced state to promote over well-being.
  • Reiki II
Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. What sets it apart is the attunements passed from Teacher/Master to student, opening up their energy fields. Reiki involves transferring universal life force energy from practitioner to client, with hands placed on or above specific body locations. Symbols are used with different intentions, visualized or drawn. Reiki can be done in person or through distant healing, lasting 60-90 minutes. It aids in pain relief, healing, relaxation, and balancing chakras and aura energy. Clients remain clothed on a massage table during sessions.
  • ThetaHealing®
ThetaHealing® is a holistic healing technique that utilizes the Theta brainwave state to identify and change limiting beliefs, patterns, and emotions. Developed by Vianna Stibal, it combines elements of spirituality, quantum physics, and energy healing. Practitioners access the Theta brainwave state through meditation, allowing them to connect with the subconscious mind and facilitate deep healing and transformation. By exploring and replacing negative beliefs with positive ones, ThetaHealing® aims to release blocks and create profound shifts in mindset and behavior. This modality is used to address physical, emotional, and spiritual issues, promoting self-awareness, empowerment, and personal growth. ThetaHealing® offers a gentle yet powerful approach to healing, harnessing the innate wisdom and potential within each individual.
  • Access Bars®
Access Bars® aims to unlock, or create greater ease from blocks which may be hindering an individual from living a more fulfilled life. The idea is that there are 32 energy channels located on the head, where each channel represents various life domains such as health, money, creativity and so on. An Access Bars practitioner gently touches the 32 energy channels which may help to release thoughts, beliefs, emotions and ideas which might be limiting the individual. Through this process, the aim is to create better alignment between mind and body, which may enable the individual to create a more fulfilled life.
  • Thought Field Therapy™ (TFT)
Thought Field Therapy™ (TFT) is an energy-based psychotherapy developed by Dr. Roger Callahan and Joanne Callahan. It involves tapping specific points while recalling a traumatic event to release energy blockages associated with negative emotions. These perturbations, or energy blockages, are believed to be encoded in the body's energy system. During TFT, practitioners identify blocked meridian points using muscle testing and apply tapping sequences inspired by Acupressure and Acupuncture. Clients rate their discomfort on a scale and tapping is repeated until the rating is low. Additional practices like tapping the Gamut spot and engaging in activities are used. Sessions are 30-90 minutes, and the number of sessions depends on individual needs. TFT has been used for phobias, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and depression treatment.
  • Facial Emotional Therapy
Created by Claudia Rodino, Facial Emotional Therapy is a holistic approach that recognizes the connection between emotions and the physical manifestations on the face. It involves a combination of gentle touch, acupressure, and energy-balancing techniques applied to specific points on the face to release emotional tension and promote healing. By addressing emotions held within the facial muscles and tissues, this therapy aims to improve emotional well-being, reduce stress, and enhance overall facial appearance. It can help individuals process and release emotions, promote relaxation, and rejuvenate the face, resulting in a more radiant and balanced state of being internally and externally.
  • Dry Needling
Dry needling involves inserting stainless steel filiform needles into trigger points to treat myofascial pain and dysfunction caused by overuse, injury, or poor movement patterns. It is based on western anatomical and neuro-physiological principles and differs from acupuncture, which follows Traditional Chinese Medicine. Practitioners, often physical, sports injury, or massage therapists, may recommend exercises and physical therapy techniques alongside needling to prevent trigger point reoccurrence. Sessions may last 10 - 30 minutes, and various techniques can be used. Dry needling is effective for musculoskeletal conditions such as shoulder pain, low back pain, headaches, and more. Due to the skin penetration, infection control policies and legal guidelines must be strictly adhered to.
  • Remedial Massage
Remedial massage involves the assessment and personalized treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues. Therapists trained in this field locate the source of pain by examining these structures and posture. They then administer targeted massages to enhance blood circulation, improve joint mobility, and aid tissue repair. Remedial massage therapists usually have specific objectives, such as addressing knee, shoulder, or back injuries, which may necessitate multiple sessions. This type of massage can assist with various conditions, including neck, shoulder, and back pain, injury prevention, headaches, fatigue, arthritis, anxiety/depression, diabetes-related symptoms, and addiction recovery.
  • Reiki III (Master)
Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. What sets it apart is the attunements passed from Teacher/Master to student, opening up their energy fields. Reiki involves transferring universal life force energy from practitioner to client, with hands placed on or above specific body locations. Symbols are used with different intentions, visualized or drawn. Reiki can be done in person or through distant healing, lasting 60-90 minutes. It aids in pain relief, healing, relaxation, and balancing chakras and aura energy. Clients remain clothed on a massage table during sessions. For IICT purposes, a Reiki Master is someone who is qualified to teach and attune others to Reiki.
