Feminine Freedom
About

I help women to transition from one life to another through profound foundational change in self-concept. When the life you've lived has run its course and you know its time for change, but you're struggling to bridge the mental, emotional, psychological, knowledge, skill and embodiment gaps between where you've been and where you're going, working with is the bridge to steward you across the threshold. This work is a river that runs deep, and supports you to establish whole-being change even when you're surrounded by others who expect you to stay the same and keep affirming who you once were.

  • Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Co-founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) enables us to understand how our brain processes the words we use and how that can effect our programming and behaviour. Engaging various tools and techniques, practitioners support clients with re-programming their neurology, language and actions. Rather than allowing thoughts to be passive, NLP techniques help to look at thoughts, feelings and emotions as things that can be controlled. Techniques can include things such as Imagery Training, NLP Swish, Modelling, Mirroring, and Incantations.
  • Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy, also known as somatic psychotherapy, is a form of therapy that focuses on the mind-body connection. It recognizes that emotional and psychological stress can have physical effects on the body, and vice versa. Somatic therapy integrates traditional talk therapy with somatic practices such as mindfulness, breathing exercises, movement, touch and body awareness, helping clients work through emotional and physical challenges through body awareness. It is often used to treat trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and other mental health conditions. Somatic therapists work collaboratively with clients to explore the mind-body connection and promote healing.
