- Purna YogaPurna Yoga is a comprehensive and holistic style of yoga that encompasses physical postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama), meditation (specifically Heartfull Meditation™), and philosophical teachings. Developed by Aadil Palkhivala and Savitri, Purna Yoga emphasizes the integration of body, mind, and spirit for overall well-being and personal growth. It focuses on alignment, precision, and conscious movement to promote strength, flexibility, and balance. Purna Yoga also emphasizes the cultivation of mindfulness and self-awareness, encouraging practitioners to explore their inner landscape and develop a deeper connection with themselves and others. It combines ancient yogic wisdom with modern therapeutic principles to support physical health, emotional healing, and spiritual awakening.
- Yin YogaYin Yoga is a meditative form of Yoga based on Taoist principles, targeting deep connective tissues through passive, longer-held postures. Postures mainly focus on the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine, held for three to five minutes or longer. Stressing the connective tissue helps lengthen and strengthen it. On an energetic level, each posture is associated with a different meridian, restoring harmony and increasing chi. Classes usually last 60 - 90 minutes, including pranayama, meditation, and asanas. Yin Yoga offers a profound and introspective practice, promoting flexibility, relaxation, and energetic balance.
- Chair YogaChair yoga is a gentle form of yoga in which postures are performed while seated in a chair or with the aid of a chair. It is ideal for beginners, people with physical limitations, elderly men and women or those seeking a gentle practice. Chair yoga can also be incorporated into a yoga class to assist with balance or getting down to and up off the floor. Depending on the qualifications of the practitioner, a chair yoga session may also include pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation and mindfulness practices.
- Relaxation MassageRelaxation massage is a gentle and soothing form of massage therapy aimed at promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving overall well-being. It involves the application of various massage techniques, such as long, gliding strokes, kneading, and circular motions, using a lighter pressure. The primary focus of relaxation massage is to calm the nervous system, relieve muscle tension, and create a sense of deep relaxation. This type of massage is typically performed in a serene and tranquil environment, with the client undressed and covered with a sheet or towel.
- MassageMassage therapy is the application of pressure to a person’s muscles, tendons, connective tissue and ligaments with the intention of alleviating pain, relaxing muscles, rehabilitating injuries, and providing stress relief. Massage therapists are trained to assess a client’s specific massage needs and apply a range of techniques.
