- MeditationMeditation is an umbrella term for a number of practices that train the meditator to be present to their thoughts with awareness and without judgement. Counter to the conditioning of the mind/body system, positive effects of meditation can be heightened relaxation, the building of etheric energy and deeper awareness. Through either sustained focus, mindfulness, or the cultivation of compassion, meditation can clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure, depression and anxiety.
- Counselling CoachCounselling coaches have foundational counselling skills to complement professions such as nutrition, life and health coaching and alternative therapies. They are trained in methodologies such as listening and bonding, reflection, questioning, interview techniques, and finding solutions. Counselling coaching can also be a step towards becoming a qualified counsellor. Counselling coaches are not qualified counsellors and anything outside their scope of practice should be referred to a healthcare professional.
