- Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)Co-founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) enables us to understand how our brain processes the words we use and how that can effect our programming and behaviour. Engaging various tools and techniques, practitioners support clients with re-programming their neurology, language and actions. Rather than allowing thoughts to be passive, NLP techniques help to look at thoughts, feelings and emotions as things that can be controlled. Techniques can include things such as Imagery Training, NLP Swish, Modelling, Mirroring, and Incantations.
- Positive EFTPositive Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a therapeutic approach combining elements of traditional Chinese medicine, cognitive therapy, and acupressure. It involves tapping on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on positive emotions, affirmations, and intentions to enhance emotional resilience, self-empowerment, and overall psychological health. It can be used as a self-help tool or in conjunction with professional therapy.
- Positive PsychologyPositive Psychology is the study of human flourishing, focusing on strengths, well-being, and the promotion of positive emotions and behaviors. It emphasizes the importance of personal growth, resilience, and meaning in life. In holistic therapies like NLP Coaching, Life Coaching, and other helping professions, Positive Psychology is integrated through practices that help individuals build on their inherent strengths, enhance self-awareness, and cultivate a positive mindset. Therapists and coaches use techniques such as reframing, gratitude exercises, and strengths identification to encourage clients to shift their focus from limitations to possibilities. By fostering optimism, emotional intelligence, and a sense of purpose, Positive Psychology helps clients navigate challenges, build healthier relationships, and thrive in all areas of life, leading to greater fulfillment and well-being.
- Time Line Therapy®Founded by Tad James Co. in 1986, Time Line Therapy® is the latest development in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Time Line Therapy® techniques utilize a person’s own internal “Time Line” to work with their unconscious minds in a variety of ways; including, healing emotional traumas and eradicating unwanted thoughts, emotions and behaviours. A person's “Time Line” is how they unconsciously store their memories or how they unconsciously know the difference between a memory from the past and a projection of the future. Behavioural change in an individual takes place at an unconscious level. The Time Line Therapy® techniques allow people to work at the unconscious level and release the effects of past negative experiences and change “inappropriate” programming in minutes rather than days, months or years.
- Energy PsychologyEnergy psychology is a branch of psychology that combines elements of traditional psychology with concepts from Eastern medicine, neuroscience, and energy-based healing modalities. It explores the relationship between the mind, emotions, and the body's energy systems. Energy psychology approaches often involve techniques such as tapping, visualization, or focused attention on specific acupressure points to help release emotional blockages, promote healing, and restore balance. These techniques are believed to influence the body's energy flow and address emotional disturbances, trauma, or negative thought patterns. Energy psychology aims to bring about positive changes in emotional well-being, cognitive processes, and overall mental and physical health. It can be used as a stand-alone therapy or integrated with other therapeutic approaches to enhance personal growth and holistic healing.
- Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)Founded by Gary Craig in the 1990's, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) draw on various alternative medicine practices including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming and energy medicine. Treatment involves two-finger tapping on acupuncture points while using acceptance statement(s) to anchor the transformative intent. Depending on the EFT practitioner's level of training and scope of practice, it can be employed to address diverse physical and psychological conditions, including phobias, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and pain.
- NLP CoachingNeuro Linguistic Programming Coaching supports clients to access their dormant potential and achieve more in life. NLP Coaches are trained to detect minute clues in facial expressions, tone of voice, and expressions to uncover limiting beliefs and behaviours. Practitioners support their clients to set goals, break addictive habits, improve performance, and transform their relationships.
