We are all individuals and have unique experiences.  Therefore our sessions will be tailored to your need.

I offer a warm, relaxed and non-judgmental professional relationship.   This therapeutic relationship is like no other in your life.  The time that we spend together is all about you – it is your time and my role is to be there for you and you alone in the time we spend working together.  You will have my undivided attention.

It is important that you feel comfortable with me as your therapist and that we both feel we can work together to build a good therapeutic relationship in order to facilitate change in your life.

I offer a 45 minute initial meeting and this is an opportunity to ask questions and see if we feel happy working together.  If we both feel positive to go ahead we can then agree on a plan for further sessions, which is likely to involve a minimum of 6 sessions but can extend to accommodate your needs.

Sessions are usually weekly and 50mins – 1 hour in length, for both long and short term work.

We can work together by talking and listening and there are a variety of additional ways that we can use to help you explore and express your thoughts and feelings.  This might include writing, drawing, sand, avatars, animals or nature-based activities.  Our choice of activities will be determined by what you feel most comfortable with.

I currently offer online counselling either by FaceTime/Whereby video link and offer retreat weeks at my new location in France for UK-based clients.  I am now also accepting new clients in Lower Normandy on location.  I am based close to Sourdeval.

  • Counselling
    Counselling is a form of talk therapy that enhances self-understanding and promotes mental well-being. Through deep listening and empathy, counsellors establish a positive working relationship which creates a safe and confidential space. Within this context, clients can develop effective ways to deal with anxieties and negative life patterns and gain new perspectives in a non-judgemental environment. Sessions can be carried out in person or via telephone or videoconferencing. In some countries, Counselling is regulated. It is essential you are familiar with and adhere to the laws in your state/province or country which govern the appropriate use of titles, require licensure/registration, or a specific level of education.
  • Nature Based Therapy
    Nature-Based Therapy is a therapeutic approach that incorporates the natural environment into the healing process. Recognizing the innate connection between humans and nature, sessions take place outdoors in natural settings like parks or gardens, engaging in activities such as hiking or gardening. Therapists may use nature-related metaphors to explore emotions and experiences. This approach has shown effectiveness in treating mental health issues like depression, anxiety, stress, and addiction. By immersing clients in nature, Nature-Based Therapy harnesses the healing power of the outdoors to promote emotional well-being and personal growth.
