Melissa is a Transformational Hypnosis Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher, and Human Potential Educator who helps people create meaningful, lasting change from within. Her work focuses on the connection between the subconscious mind, nervous system, energy, and mindset - helping clients understand and shift the patterns that influence how they think, feel, respond, and move through their lives.
Through Transformational Hypnosis, Melissa works with clients to identify deeply rooted beliefs, emotional patterns, and subconscious programming that may be keeping them stuck. Each private experience is personalized to the individual and designed to support new beliefs, behaviors, and ways of relating to themselves and their future.
As a Reiki Master Teacher, Melissa also offers energy work to support relaxation, balance, self-awareness, and a greater sense of connection to oneself.
Her approach brings together subconscious work, nervous system regulation, energy practices, and intentional mindset development. Rather than focusing only on what someone wants to change, Melissa helps clients explore the deeper patterns beneath their experiences and create a new internal foundation from which to move forward.
Her philosophy is simple: Regulate. Rewire. Align. Thrive.
- Reiki III (Master)Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. What sets it apart is the attunements passed from Teacher/Master to student, opening up their energy fields. Reiki involves transferring universal life force energy from practitioner to client, with hands placed on or above specific body locations. Symbols are used with different intentions, visualized or drawn. Reiki can be done in person or through distant healing, lasting 60-90 minutes. It aids in pain relief, healing, relaxation, and balancing chakras and aura energy. Clients remain clothed on a massage table during sessions. For IICT purposes, a Reiki Master is someone who is qualified to teach and attune others to Reiki.
- HypnotherapyHypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that utilizes hypnosis to access and influence the subconscious mind. It involves inducing a relaxed state, known as a trance, where the individual is open to positive suggestions and guided imagery. This altered state of consciousness allows the hypnotherapist to work with the client's deeper levels of awareness to address and transform limiting beliefs, behaviours, and emotional patterns. It is a collaborative process that aims to harness the power of the mind for personal growth and healing. For our purposes, it is important to differentiate Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy from Clinical Hypnotherapy. Clinical Hypnotherapists undergo extensive training and are skilled in Counselling/Psychotherapy, making them adept at handling more complex cases such as trauma/PTSD, fears and phobias, sexual dysfunction, and so on.
