About

I’m Michelle Seelig

COUNSELLOR | MIDLIFE SPECIALIST | MINDBODY PRACTITIONER

I specialise in working with midlife women navigating people-pleasing, anxiety, burnout and the quiet grief of an unlived life — women who sense that midlife is asking something different of them, and who long for something more authentic, meaningful and genuinely their own.

For more than 25 years I have worked across counselling and holistic wellbeing, supporting women through emotional overwhelm, life transitions, identity shifts and the complex inner work of reclaiming themselves.

What has remained constant throughout is a deep belief that midlife is not simply something to survive — it is an invitation into greater self-awareness, emotional honesty and authentic change.

My approach is integrative and embodied . I believe the patterns that keep you stuck are often rooted in your history, your nervous system and the ways you learned to survive — and that is where the work goes.  I bring clinical rigour and genuine human warmth to every session.

I listen deeply and respond thoughtfully. I offer a compassionate, unhurried space where you can begin exploring the patterns, experiences and survival strategies that have shaped you — and gently reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been neglected along the way.

It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you create a life that feels more grounded, more connected to yourself, and truly aligned with who you are becoming.

Approved Modalities
  • Meditation
Meditation is an umbrella term for a number of practices that train the meditator to be present to their thoughts with awareness and without judgement. Counter to the conditioning of the mind/body system, positive effects of meditation can be heightened relaxation, the building of etheric energy and deeper awareness. Through either sustained focus, mindfulness, or the cultivation of compassion, meditation can clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure, depression and anxiety.
  • Yoga
A physical, mental and spiritual practice, Yoga is a Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas dating more than 2,500 years. Classes are generally 1 - 1 ½ hrs in duration and incorporate physical postures and movement (asanas), breath exercises (pranayama), relaxation and concentration, philosophy, and meditation. Yoga benefits the physical and mental body by enhancing flexibility, improving muscle strength and tone, increasing body awareness, and promoting relaxation and calm.
  • Health Coach - Integrative Nutrition
Health Coach - Integrative Nutrition is a health coach qualification offered by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. IIN Health Coaches take an integrative and holistic approach to health, looking beyond food to consider other areas of life that need nourishment, like career, physical activity, and relationships—what IIN refers to as primary foods. IIN Health Coaches do not prescribe specific meal plans, workouts or lifestyle regimes - they share knowledge and resources on how to create sustainable behaviour change, empowering their clients to make informed decisions based on their unique goals and needs. IIN Health Coaches can work in traditional healthcare, such as coaching clients one-on-one, in groups, or partnering with healthcare professionals in doctor’s offices, as well as in entrepreneurial wellness settings, such as gyms, spas, or food, beauty and supplement companies.
