- Shamanism / Shamanic HealingShamanism and Shamanic Healing encompass visionary practices across various cultures, utilising altered states of consciousness, imagination, and creativity for personal and spiritual growth. Rituals, symbolism, mythology, and body/mind techniques help practitioners "walk between worlds" and conduct soul retrieval. Shamans work at individual, group, family, and community levels, employing human potential for insight, spiritual healing, and self-realisation. Sweat lodge ceremonies, physical and psychological challenges, and the use of spiritual tools and art are common practices. While demanding, these experiences can be deeply rewarding, fostering a lifelong commitment to "soul-work" and self-discovery. IICT does not endorse the usage of psychotropic drugs such as Ayahuasca and/ or San Pedro and the Shamanism modality does not include the usage of psychotropic drugs such as Ayahuasca and/or San Pedro.
- Reiki III (Master)Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. What sets it apart is the attunements passed from Teacher/Master to student, opening up their energy fields. Reiki involves transferring universal life force energy from practitioner to client, with hands placed on or above specific body locations. Symbols are used with different intentions, visualized or drawn. Reiki can be done in person or through distant healing, lasting 60-90 minutes. It aids in pain relief, healing, relaxation, and balancing chakras and aura energy. Clients remain clothed on a massage table during sessions. For IICT purposes, a Reiki Master is someone who is qualified to teach and attune others to Reiki.
- QoyaQoya is a movement practice blending yoga, dance, and feminine embodiment principles. It was created by Rochelle Schieck in 2009. The name "Qoya" derives from the Quechua word meaning "queen," representing women embracing their innate wisdom and sovereignty. Qoya sessions focus on expressing oneself through movement and reconnecting with the body's wisdom, intuition, and authentic self. The practice encourages participants to move in ways that feel good and honors the unique expression of each individual. There are no specific movement requirements, and practitioners are encouraged to trust their body's innate intelligence as they engage in a heart-centred, empowering, and liberating movement experience.
- Qi GongQigong (pronounced chi-gong) was developed thousands of years ago as a form of Chinese Medicine. Qi translates to “subtle breath” and gong translates to “skill cultivated through steady practice.” It combines gentle movement, deep breathing, and mind regulation to optimise energy in the mind, body and spirit. There are hundreds of forms of qigong exercises, including Tai Chi, Baduanjin, Liuzijue, Hu Yue Xian, Yijin King, and Medical Qigong, and they all have the primary aim of reducing stress and building stamina, increasing vitality, and enhancing immune function.
- YogaA physical, mental and spiritual practice, Yoga is a Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas dating more than 2,500 years. Classes are generally 1 - 1 ½ hrs in duration and incorporate physical postures and movement (asanas), breath exercises (pranayama), relaxation and concentration, philosophy, and meditation. Yoga benefits the physical and mental body by enhancing flexibility, improving muscle strength and tone, increasing body awareness, and promoting relaxation and calm.
- Sound TherapySound Therapy is a healing modality that utilises the power of sound and vibrations to promote relaxation, balance, and wellbeing. It involves the intentional use of various sound instruments and techniques, such as singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and chanting, to create harmonic frequencies that resonate with the body and mind. Sound vibrations can penetrate deeply, releasing tension, reducing stress, and stimulating the body's natural healing abilities. Sound Therapy can be beneficial for improving sleep, reducing anxiety, enhancing meditation, and promoting overall emotional and physical wellbeing. It provides a therapeutic and immersive experience that harmonises and restores the body's energy flow.
- MeditationMeditation is an umbrella term for a number of practices that train the meditator to be present to their thoughts with awareness and without judgement. Counter to the conditioning of the mind/body system, positive effects of meditation can be heightened relaxation, the building of etheric energy and deeper awareness. Through either sustained focus, mindfulness, or the cultivation of compassion, meditation can clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure, depression and anxiety.
