Hello, I'm Chris Warner, an International Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapist, offering adult individual, couples, and group therapy, with additional specialty in addiction recovery. A substantial portion of my priviate practice is also focused on supporting other therapists, psychologists, and counselors in their own ongoing inner work.
I welcome, honor, and uphold the innate dignity of all people, of all races, nationalities, ages, genders, physical and neurological capacities, sexual orientations, spiritual practices, and faith traditions. I welcome you if you have engaged in therapy at other times in your life, and I welcome you if this is your first time choosing to engage in therapy.
My training and experience affords me the capacity to support people in a personalized, integrative, and eclectic manner, and encompasses a wide and deep range of leading edge, transformational psychotherapeutic modalities including:
Compassionate Inquiry® (CI)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Somatic Psychotherapy
Applied Polyvagal Theory

IFIO (Intimacy from the Inside Out, IFS couples therapy)
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Clinically Applied Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Alongside my work as a therapist, I have been teaching mindfulness meditation, the BuddhaDharma, breathwork, and yoga for nearly 30 years.
My lived experience as an adoptee and a trauma and addiction survivor allows me a compassionate frame of reference and ground for work with clients, as they find their way home to themselves. I have not yet met anyone who cannot recover or heal, and it's my honor and delight to support those with the desire to thrive, authentically, in their lives.
- Compassionate Inquiry®studentCompassionate Inquiry® is a therapeutic approach developed by renowned physician and author Gabor Maté. It combines elements of psychotherapy, mindfulness, and compassion to explore and address the underlying emotional and psychological roots of personal issues and challenges. Compassionate Inquiry® aims to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can deeply examine their thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours, uncovering the origins of pain, trauma, and self-limiting patterns. With the guidance of a trained practitioner, individuals engage in self-inquiry, self-reflection, and compassionate exploration to foster healing, self-acceptance, and personal transformation. The process encourages greater self-awareness, understanding, and compassion towards oneself and others.
- YogaA physical, mental and spiritual practice, Yoga is a Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas dating more than 2,500 years. Classes are generally 1 - 1 ½ hrs in duration and incorporate physical postures and movement (asanas), breath exercises (pranayama), relaxation and concentration, philosophy, and meditation. Yoga benefits the physical and mental body by enhancing flexibility, improving muscle strength and tone, increasing body awareness, and promoting relaxation and calm.
