About Nathalie

I help moms and young adults navigate emotional triggers, relationships, and life transitions with greater calm, confidence, and integrity.

My work is deeply personal because it grew from my own healing journey.

As a child, I often felt misunderstood and believed there was something wrong with me. My emotional needs for love, encouragement, and validation were rarely met, and my childhood included emotional and physical abuse. To cope, I became highly sensitive to other people’s moods. I learned to avoid conflict, please others, and work hard to feel accepted.

At 17, I travelled across the continents to attend university in Canada. For the first time, I experienced freedom, but deep inside I was still longing for love and belonging. I later entered a relationship that mirrored the control I had known growing up. Because I didn’t yet understand what healthy love looked like, the line between love and control felt blurry.

After university, I built a successful corporate career, working long hours and constantly pushing myself. From the outside, everything looked good. Inside, I felt exhausted and disconnected from myself.

Working with a therapist helped me begin healing the wounds I had carried since childhood. I slowly learned to understand my emotions, regulate my nervous system, and respond with greater awareness and compassion.

Eventually, I knew I could not continue living the way I had been. I left the corporate world and followed my passion for movement and wellbeing. I became a personal trainer and later discovered Forrest Yoga, which opened the door to deeper emotional healing and a stronger connection with my body.

Then motherhood brought another layer to my healing journey.

I had always dreamed of having a loving, connected relationship with my children. But during the early years of homeschooling, many days were filled with frustration, tears, and yelling. I found myself repeating patterns I had promised myself I would never pass on.

That realization changed everything.

I began to understand that my reactions were connected to old wounds, beliefs, and patterns that were still living within me. As I did the inner work, my relationship with my children began to transform. Our home became calmer, more connected, and more compassionate.

Today, with over a decade of experience in trauma-informed coaching, somatic awareness, Compassionate Inquiry®, Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), yoga, and nervous system regulation, I help others uncover the roots of their reactions so they can respond to life with greater calm, clarity, and self-trust.

Every part of my journey has shaped the work I do today: my childhood, relationships, career changes, motherhood, and years of healing and learning.

I believe that when we understand our emotions and learn to regulate our nervous system, we can meet ourselves and others with more compassion, clarity, and confidence.

And when we change how we show up, the relationships around us can begin to change too.
If you can relate to my story, I invite you to reach out so we can connect and see if I can assist you on your transformational journey!

Approved Modalities
  • Rapid Transformational Therapy®
Developed by Marisa Peer, Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®) combines techniques from NLP, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Hypnosis, and Psychotherapy teaching clients to reframe negative beliefs, values, habits and emotions. Unlike traditional hypnotherapy, which relies on positive reinforcement, RTT® identifies how, where and when unhelpful beliefs and behaviours were formed. Then, using principles of neuroplasticity, practitioners can help clients create new neural pathways in the mind.
  • Compassionate Inquiry®
Compassionate Inquiry® is a therapeutic approach developed by renowned physician and author Gabor Maté. It combines elements of psychotherapy, mindfulness, and compassion to explore and address the underlying emotional and psychological roots of personal issues and challenges. Compassionate Inquiry® aims to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can deeply examine their thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours, uncovering the origins of pain, trauma, and self-limiting patterns. With the guidance of a trained practitioner, individuals engage in self-inquiry, self-reflection, and compassionate exploration to foster healing, self-acceptance, and personal transformation. The process encourages greater self-awareness, understanding, and compassion towards oneself and others.
  • Yoga
A physical, mental and spiritual practice, Yoga is a Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas dating more than 2,500 years. Classes are generally 1 - 1 ½ hrs in duration and incorporate physical postures and movement (asanas), breath exercises (pranayama), relaxation and concentration, philosophy, and meditation. Yoga benefits the physical and mental body by enhancing flexibility, improving muscle strength and tone, increasing body awareness, and promoting relaxation and calm.
