Jhana Bowen is a dedicated Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (BCST) and somatic practitioner based in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. As the founder of Quantum Bio-Intelligence, Jhana specializes in trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and empowering the human body’s innate capacity for self-healing.

Jhana’s practice is rooted in the understanding that the body possesses an inherent blueprint for health. Utilizing Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, he provides a safe, neutral, and profoundly supportive space that allows the client's body to process trauma without practitioner interference.   • Massage
    Massage therapy is the application of pressure to a person’s muscles, tendons, connective tissue and ligaments with the intention of alleviating pain, relaxing muscles, rehabilitating injuries, and providing stress relief. Massage therapists are trained to assess a client’s specific massage needs and apply a range of techniques.
  • Swedish Massage
    One of the world's most widely used massage techniques, Swedish Massage, also known as classic massage, uses light pressure and gentle strokes to promote relaxation, soften connective tissue and encourage circulation. Practitioners may utilise different techniques throughout a session such as Effleurage (long, flowing strokes), Petrissage (kneading), Tapotement (rhythmic tapping), Friction and Vibration which may be applied to the back, neck, legs, arms, hands and feet. Practitioners may use oil or lotion to protect the skin from friction. A session is generally 50 - 60 minutes in duration.
  • Transpersonal Art Therapy
    Transpersonal Art Therapy combines psychology models with various creative modalities like visual art, drama, dance, play, meditation, and movement. It takes a holistic approach, considering the client's mental, emotional, spiritual, and environmental well-being. Transpersonal Art Therapists utilize techniques such as the two-chair technique, color and symbol exploration, and storytelling through the Hero's Journey model. This approach empowers clients to tap into their inner wisdom for self-discovery and problem-solving. Transpersonal Art Therapy can assist with mental health, eating disorders, life changes, anxiety, depression, self-discovery, family and relationship crises, addiction, substance abuse, and spiritual crises. It's important to be aware of the regulations and laws regarding the use of titles and qualifications in your specific region.
  • Craniosacral Therapy
    Craniosacral Therapy (CST) was developed by John E Upledger, influenced by Dr. William Sutherland's research. It involves gentle hands-on evaluation and light touch on the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. CST releases restrictions in this system, benefiting the central nervous, digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, and circulatory systems. It has shown to help with somatic conditions like depression and anxiety. CST has two types: Biomechanical and Biodynamic, both falling under the general heading of Craniosacral Therapy.
  • Reiki II
    Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. What sets it apart is the attunements passed from Teacher/Master to student, opening up their energy fields. Reiki involves transferring universal life force energy from practitioner to client, with hands placed on or above specific body locations. Symbols are used with different intentions, visualized or drawn. Reiki can be done in person or through distant healing, lasting 60-90 minutes. It aids in pain relief, healing, relaxation, and balancing chakras and aura energy. Clients remain clothed on a massage table during sessions.
  • Yoga
    A physical, mental and spiritual practice, Yoga is a Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas dating more than 2,500 years. Classes are generally 1 - 1 ½ hrs in duration and incorporate physical postures and movement (asanas), breath exercises (pranayama), relaxation and concentration, philosophy, and meditation. Yoga benefits the physical and mental body by enhancing flexibility, improving muscle strength and tone, increasing body awareness, and promoting relaxation and calm.
