Approved Modalities
  • Acupuncture
Acupuncture, a 3,000-year-old Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy, aims to restore balance to the mind, body, and spirit by addressing the root cause of disease. Tiny steel needles inserted into specific acupoints stimulate the body's central nervous system, releasing chemicals into muscles, the spinal cord, and brain, promoting Qi flow, clearing energetic blockages, and inducing self-healing. Moxibustion, herbs, or dietary supplements may complement treatment. Acupuncture benefits various conditions like arthritis, headaches, sleep disorders, blood pressure, sports injuries, infertility, digestive issues, anxiety, menopause, and pain. Regulation of Acupuncturists varies by region, and practitioners must hold appropriate qualifications and licensure.

  • Compassionate Inquiry®
Compassionate Inquiry® is a therapeutic approach developed by renowned physician and author Gabor Maté. It combines elements of psychotherapy, mindfulness, and compassion to explore and address the underlying emotional and psychological roots of personal issues and challenges. Compassionate Inquiry® aims to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can deeply examine their thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours, uncovering the origins of pain, trauma, and self-limiting patterns. With the guidance of a trained practitioner, individuals engage in self-inquiry, self-reflection, and compassionate exploration to foster healing, self-acceptance, and personal transformation. The process encourages greater self-awareness, understanding, and compassion towards oneself and others.

  • Face Readings
Face reading, also known as physiognomy or facial profiling, is the practice of analyzing facial features and expressions to gain insights into a person's character, personality traits, and potential future outcomes. It is based on the belief that specific facial characteristics are indicative of certain psychological or behavioral attributes. Face readers examine aspects such as the shape of the face, eyes, nose, mouth, and other facial features to interpret a person's temperament, emotional tendencies, communication style, and potential strengths and weaknesses. Face reading is often used as a tool for self-discovery, interpersonal understanding, and gaining a deeper understanding of others.

Based on principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Chinese Herbal Medicine aims to restore harmony and treat the root cause of illness by addressing imbalances in the body's energetic system. Herbal formulas, consisting of various herbs and sometimes animal or mineral ingredients, are customized to each individual's unique pattern of disharmony. Depending on the herb and its intended use, they can be packaged as powders, pastes, lotions or tablets. Chinese Herbal Medicine is used to address a wide range of conditions, support overall well-being, and maintain optimal health by promoting the body's self-healing capabilities. Regulation of Chinese Medicine varies by region, state/province, and country and practitioners are responsible to hold the appropriate qualifications and licensure/registration.
