Towards Higher Mind
About

Hi I’m Jenn. I am a Soul Focused Psychotherapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Somatic EMDR practitioner, and transformational mindset coach.

With many more effective healing modalities under my belt, I help people shift from high trauma, crisis, and destructive thought patterns, behaviours and mindsets (such as anxiety, depression, anger, fear, or shame) to more positive and proactive beliefs and mindsets, (such as self love, worthiness, abundance, and connectedness).

The transformations I see, lead to feelings of deep authenticity in my clients daily lives, resulting in a happier, more fulfilling life! If you've ever been in that position where you want to feel awesome (and aspire to something amazing) but all you feel is stressed and overwhelmed and you end up in less than impressive life situations — I can help!

I specialise in guiding individuals through challenging times. Drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques, I help clients overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, fear, and shame. Together, we'll work to replace destructive thought patterns with positive beliefs that foster self-love, worthiness, abundance, and connection.

Approved Modalities
  • Meditation
Meditation is an umbrella term for a number of practices that train the meditator to be present to their thoughts with awareness and without judgement. Counter to the conditioning of the mind/body system, positive effects of meditation can be heightened relaxation, the building of etheric energy and deeper awareness. Through either sustained focus, mindfulness, or the cultivation of compassion, meditation can clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure, depression and anxiety.
  • Mindfulness Therapy
Mindfulness Therapy is a Zen inspired meditative practice based on the teaching of Jon Kabat-Zinn. It enables client’s to learn to be aware of their thoughts and bodily sensations and in so doing be able to better cope with day to day emotions and problems.
  • Reiki II
Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. What sets it apart is the attunements passed from Teacher/Master to student, opening up their energy fields. Reiki involves transferring universal life force energy from practitioner to client, with hands placed on or above specific body locations. Symbols are used with different intentions, visualized or drawn. Reiki can be done in person or through distant healing, lasting 60-90 minutes. It aids in pain relief, healing, relaxation, and balancing chakras and aura energy. Clients remain clothed on a massage table during sessions.
  • Soul Focused Psychotherapy
  • Sound Therapy
Sound Therapy is a healing modality that utilises the power of sound and vibrations to promote relaxation, balance, and wellbeing. It involves the intentional use of various sound instruments and techniques, such as singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and chanting, to create harmonic frequencies that resonate with the body and mind. Sound vibrations can penetrate deeply, releasing tension, reducing stress, and stimulating the body's natural healing abilities. Sound Therapy can be beneficial for improving sleep, reducing anxiety, enhancing meditation, and promoting overall emotional and physical wellbeing. It provides a therapeutic and immersive experience that harmonises and restores the body's energy flow.
  • Access Bars®
Access Bars® aims to unlock, or create greater ease from blocks which may be hindering an individual from living a more fulfilled life. The idea is that there are 32 energy channels located on the head, where each channel represents various life domains such as health, money, creativity and so on. An Access Bars practitioner gently touches the 32 energy channels which may help to release thoughts, beliefs, emotions and ideas which might be limiting the individual. Through this process, the aim is to create better alignment between mind and body, which may enable the individual to create a more fulfilled life.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic approach used to treat psychological trauma and other distressing experiences. During an EMDR session, the client is guided to recall traumatic memories while simultaneously engaging in bilateral stimulation, typically through eye movements, hand taps, or auditory cues. This process aims to facilitate the reprocessing of traumatic memories, reducing the emotional intensity and associated symptoms. EMDR is thought to work by activating the brain's natural healing mechanisms, allowing for the integration of traumatic experiences into adaptive memory networks. It is widely used by trained mental health professionals and has shown effectiveness in addressing various trauma-related disorders.
  • Clinical Hypnotherapy
Clinical Hypnotherapy is the application of hypnotherapy in a clinical setting. A hypnotherapist guides their client through a process of deep relaxation to arrive in a trance-like state by using verbal repition and mental imagry. Hypnotherapy aims to reach subsoncious memories, beliefs, coping strategies and desires to provide insight for individuals who may suffer from pain or anxiety, or assist idividuals to gain control over undesired bahviours. A clinical hynotherapist combines hypnotherapy with counselling or psychotherapy techniques, and can support clients with mood disorders, phobias, sleep disorders, and other mental health or behavioural challenges. Note: Clinical Hypnotherapy is distinct from Hypnotherapy. Each has different study requirements.
  • Complex Trauma Practitioner
A Complex Trauma Practitioner/Coach specialises in supporting individuals who have experienced prolonged or repeated traumatic events, often stemming from early life or relational wounds. They provide a compassionate, client-centred approach to help clients navigate the impacts of trauma, such as emotional dysregulation, chronic stress, or relationship challenges. Using trauma-informed practices, these professionals create a safe and non-judgmental space, empowering clients to explore their experiences at their own pace. They may incorporate somatic awareness, mindfulness, and practical tools to foster resilience and self-regulation. While not therapists, they work collaboratively to support healing and personal growth, helping clients rebuild trust, self-worth, and empowerment. Their goal is to guide clients toward creating healthier patterns and a fulfilling life beyond the effects of trauma.
