About

brid9e is a space for inner work, meditation and exploring the patterns that shape how we live and relate.

I’m Vikram, the founder of brid9e. My work brings together practices that I have studied, experienced and facilitated over many years, including Compassionate Inquiry, Family Constellations, active meditation, somatic awareness and practices from the Vigyan Bhairava Tantra.

I don’t begin with a method. I begin with what is present.

Sometimes that might be anxiety, feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Sometimes it is a relationship that keeps becoming difficult, a pattern that repeats, a period of change or loss, or simply the feeling that something in life needs attention.

From there, we explore together.

A session may involve conversation and inquiry, noticing what is happening in the body, looking at a wider family system, or working with meditation and movement. You do not need to know which approach you need before you come.

I am trained in Compassionate Inquiry and Family Constellations and have been facilitating meditation for more than six years. My approach is influenced both by contemporary understanding of trauma and the body, and by ancient contemplative traditions I grew up around in India and continue to study.

brid9e is not about trying to turn you into a better version of yourself. I see it more as a space between places — between mind and body, past and present, ourselves and others, and sometimes between where we are and where we want to be.

I work with individuals, groups, studios, retreats and organisations, with sessions available in London, worldwide and online.

Approved Modalities
  • Systemic / Family Constellations
Family Constellations, pioneered by Bert Hellinger, is an alternative therapeutic intervention rooted in Gestalt and psychodynamic therapy. It addresses family history, unrecognized dynamics, and dysfunctional patterns that affect individuals. Techniques like drama therapy, sand-tray therapy, and art therapy help clients confront and accept the factual reality of their past. Typically, participants stand in as family members in role-play scenarios, allowing clients to interact directly or observe from a higher perspective. The goal is to gain insights and develop new perspectives, resolving conflicts or familial patterns. Family Constellations are beneficial for identifying childhood patterns affecting the present, confronting deceased or unreachable family members, or understanding how family of origin influences current relationships.
  • Compassionate Inquiry®
Compassionate Inquiry® is a therapeutic approach developed by renowned physician and author Gabor Maté. It combines elements of psychotherapy, mindfulness, and compassion to explore and address the underlying emotional and psychological roots of personal issues and challenges. Compassionate Inquiry® aims to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can deeply examine their thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours, uncovering the origins of pain, trauma, and self-limiting patterns. With the guidance of a trained practitioner, individuals engage in self-inquiry, self-reflection, and compassionate exploration to foster healing, self-acceptance, and personal transformation. The process encourages greater self-awareness, understanding, and compassion towards oneself and others.
  • Meditation
Meditation is an umbrella term for a number of practices that train the meditator to be present to their thoughts with awareness and without judgement. Counter to the conditioning of the mind/body system, positive effects of meditation can be heightened relaxation, the building of etheric energy and deeper awareness. Through either sustained focus, mindfulness, or the cultivation of compassion, meditation can clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure, depression and anxiety.
  • Energy Healing
Energy Healing is an umbrella term for the hands-on transference of energy from practitioner to client, balancing the energetic field in their physical and subtle bodies. The general principle is when energy (also known as chi, qi and prana) gets blocked due to physical, mental and chemical stressors, it can promote ‘dis-ease’ in the body. By clearing these pathways via the chakras, meridians, auric body and nadis practitioners can support a person’s innate healing system and promote physical and emotional well-being. Energy healing can be conducted hands-on, hands-off, or transmitted via distance healing. There are several energy healing modalities. For specific techniques such as Reiki, Pranic Healing, Crystal Healing, etc…please refer to those individual modalities.
  • Ayurveda
Ayurveda, originating in India, is an ancient system that views disease as an imbalance or stress in a person's consciousness. It defines the body's constitution based on the three doshas (pitta, vata, and kapha) derived from the five elements. Ayurvedic practitioners conduct detailed intakes, including physical examinations and personal histories, to diagnose and create individualized treatment plans. These may involve herbal remedies, panchakarma detoxification, ayurvedic diets, massages, and Shirodhara (oil dripping on the forehead). Ayurveda is considered a form of medical care in India, akin to allopathic, Chinese, and naturopathic medicine, offering a holistic approach to achieving optimal health and balance in the body and mind.
  • Tantra Practitioner / No Sexual Contact
Traditionally, Tantra was an ancient spiritual practice integrating various techniques like yoga, meditation, and breathwork to achieve spiritual growth and oneness with the universe. In the early 1900s, Neo-Tantra, also known as Sacred Sexuality, emerged as a modernized version focusing on integrating sexuality and spirituality. Neo-Tantra often emphasizes partner and sexual practices to enhance pleasure while honouring the idea that sexuality and spirituality are interconnected. Tantra sessions, suitable for singles or couples, aim to expand and liberate spirituality and sexuality through communication, touch, intimacy, and spiritual practices. These sessions may involve talking, breathwork, yoga, meditation, and body touch or massage to foster a deeper connection with oneself and others.
