Alison Hutchens is the founder of Mind Body Energy and Mindset Renew , and a highly experienced mindset and subconscious change coach. For more than 16 years, she has helped thousands of people overcome anxiety, trauma, emotional distress and self-limiting behaviours by addressing the underlying patterns that drive them.

Many people have read the books, tried to think differently or learned coping strategies, yet still find themselves repeating the same thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Alison believes the real issue often lies beneath conscious awareness. Rather than simply managing symptoms, she specialises in identifying and resolving the subconscious patterns, limiting beliefs and emotional learning that create them, helping clients achieve lasting change from the inside out.

The foundation of Alison's work is the MAP Method™ (Make Anything Possible), a neuroscience-informed approach that works with the subconscious mind to resolve the root causes of anxiety, trauma, fears, phobias, emotional eating, procrastination, low self-worth, grief, relationship challenges, confidence issues and the lasting effects of childhood experiences.

Every session is tailored to the individual because no two people share the same life experiences or subconscious patterns. Where appropriate, Alison integrates complementary modalities including HeartMath®, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Life Coaching, Meditation, Laughter Yoga and Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH) to support each client's unique healing journey.

At Mindset Renew, the philosophy is simple: You are not broken. You are running subconscious patterns that were created for a reason. When those patterns are identified and resolved, lasting change becomes possible, allowing you to experience greater peace, confidence, emotional freedom and a renewed sense of purpose.

  • HeartMath®
    HeartMath® is a system developed by Doc Childre in 1991, offering self-regulation techniques, protocols, and technologies to create psychophysiological coherence by changing heart rhythm patterns through sustained positive emotions. This coherence leads to emotional stability, mental clarity, and improved cognitive function. The system empowers individuals to reduce stress, increase resilience, and access intuitive guidance. Over 300 studies have been published on its effectiveness. HeartMath® is used in various settings, including corporations, government agencies, military, schools, hospitals, and health professionals. It can be delivered one-on-one or in group workshops, providing a scientifically-based approach to achieving positive outcomes for emotional and physical well-being.

  • MAP Method™
    The MAP (Make Anything Possible) Method™ was developed by Colette Streicher as a systematic process designed to help individuals manifest their goals and align with their life purpose. The method works by training the subconscious mind to support the neutralization and release of limiting memories, beliefs, and emotional patterns. At the same time, it provides conscious awareness training that helps clients identify the memories connected to emotional triggers and challenges, allowing the conscious and subconscious mind to work together in the transformation process.

  • Laughter Yoga
    Laughter Yoga, developed by Dr. Madan Kataria in 1995, combines laughter exercises with yogic breathing techniques. Based on scientific studies showing the body's response to intentional and genuine laughter, participants can gain similar benefits through intentional laughter exercises. These benefits include reduced cortisol levels, lower blood pressure, enhanced mood through endorphin release, stress reduction, improved immune function, increased social connection, and heightened optimism. Laughter Yoga offers a fun and effective way to improve both physiological and psychological well-being, promoting overall health and happiness.

  • Meditation
    Meditation is an umbrella term for a number of practices that train the meditator to be present to their thoughts with awareness and without judgement. Counter to the conditioning of the mind/body system, positive effects of meditation can be heightened relaxation, the building of etheric energy and deeper awareness. Through either sustained focus, mindfulness, or the cultivation of compassion, meditation can clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure, depression and anxiety.

  • Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
    Co-founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) enables us to understand how our brain processes the words we use and how that can effect our programming and behaviour. Engaging various tools and techniques, practitioners support clients with re-programming their neurology, language and actions. Rather than allowing thoughts to be passive, NLP techniques help to look at thoughts, feelings and emotions as things that can be controlled. Techniques can include things such as Imagery Training, NLP Swish, Modelling, Mirroring, and Incantations.

  • Life Coaching
    Life coaching is a collaborative and goal-oriented process that helps individuals, businesses, and teams to bridge the gap between their current circumstances and success. They provide guidance, support, and motivation to clients by facilitating self-reflection, exploring values, and setting action plans. Through active listening, questioning, and feedback, life coaches help clients gain clarity, overcome obstacles, and develop strategies to reach their desired outcomes. Life coaching covers various areas of life, such as career, relationships, personal growth, and health. It aims to empower individuals, foster self-awareness, and assist in making positive changes to create a more fulfilling and balanced life.

  • Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH)
    Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH) is an alternative healing modality that combines elements of hypnosis, regression therapy, and energy healing. It is an expansion upon the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) developed by Dolores Cannon. BQH aims to facilitate deep states of relaxation and altered consciousness, allowing individuals to access their subconscious mind, explore past lives, and gain insights into their current life challenges. BQH sessions may also involve energy work, intuitive guidance, and the exploration of spiritual or multidimensional aspects of existence. The goal of BQH is to support healing, personal growth, and spiritual exploration through the integration of mind, body, and spirit.
